Carlson Rezidor is pursuing Saudi Arabian growth with two hotels in the country opening over the next 16 months. One property is located in Riyadh, and the other is the group's first property in Jizan. Both projects are in cooperation with the Saudi Arabian Al Hokair Group, who owns the properties that will be operated by Carlson Rezidor.Park Inn by Radisson Riyadh Olaya offers 168 guestrooms including 50 suites in the center of the country's capital city, scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2014. In addition, this hotel will offer 340 square meters of bar and restaurant facilities, 700 square meters of meeting space, and 300 square meters of wellness and gym space.The Radisson Blu Resort Jizan will offer 160 guestrooms in one of Saudi Arabia's major shipping ports on the Red Sea. Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2015, it will also offer a 250 square meter all-day dining restaurant, a 100 square meter lobby cafe, almost 3,000 square meters of meeting and event facilities including two ballrooms, and a gym and outdoor pool.
