The Carlson Rezidor group, already the largest operator on the African continent with 51 hotels, has been showing a surge of interest in the Nigerian market. The group has 8 hotels in operation and under development in that country. Park Inn by Radisson has a brand network in Nigeria including locations in Lagos, Abeokuta and Abuja.The latest development features 150 guestrooms in the Maura district of the Abuja, the country's capital. The hotel will feature a restaurant and bar, a club lounge, and business lounge. Other leisure facilities include a gym, wellness spa, rooftop bar, and outdoor swimming pool. The centerpiece, however, is the 2,000 meters of meeting & conference facilities which make the hotel a mid-market MICE destination.
