Carlson announces the signing of its 42nd Radisson hotel in India, the 117-key Radisson Hotel Kandla, which will be the company’s fourth hotel in Gujarat.
The US$15 million Radisson Hotel Kandla, scheduled to open early next year, is owned by Rajvee Resorts & Hotels Pte. Ltd. “We are confident that this strategic partnership with Carlson, India’s largest international hotel operator, will bring a stylish, new hotel to the city,” says Rajvee Managing Director Dhaval B. Acharya.The hotel is near Kandla port, a major maritime hub in Gandhidham, a city that accounts for 40% of India’s salt production. Carlson has a total of 15 Radisson properties open in India, with an additional 27 in the pipeline.Radisson Hotel Kandla is designed by Alhad Raje & Associates, a Mumbai-based architectural firm, with the interior design led by DBTA International Pte. Ltd., Singapore. Facilities will include a swimming pool, health club, spa and business center.
