
The 58-room Best Western Cebu Sand Bar Resort represents Best Western's commitment to the Philippines, with seven hotels and 640 rooms at present, and plans for 11 hotels with 1 200 rooms by the end of 2014.
The Cebu resort is the seventh Best Western hotel in the Philippines, bringing the hotel group's portfolio to more than 640 rooms, located in Manila, Angeles City, Borocay, Makati City, Cebu.According to Glenn de Souza, Best Western’s Vice President of International Operations – Asia & the Middle East, “Since we debuted in Cebu late last year with the Best Western Plus Lex Cebu Hotel, we have experienced strong demand, both from within the Philippines and elsewhere. With a strong local economy and stunning natural attractions, the future looks incredibly bright”.Over the next two years, Best Western's plans to pursue its expansion in the Philippines, with plans for four more hotels in the country by 2014, or a total portfolio of 11 hotels with about 1 200 rooms by the end of 2014.
