Best Western's Austronesian growth plans continue with the announcement of its ambitions to add seven hotels to its Australasian network by the end of the year. These include three hotels in Tazmania and two on mainland Australia. The brand now has eight establishments on the Australian island, and should have a portfolio of 184 properties within the Australasian region by the end of the year."Our research showed that mid-market consumers would flock to updated and better designed hotels and certainly that has borne out", says Rob Anderson, Best Western Australasia chief executive. "Having the different hotel types now gives Best Western the best chance to set a benchmark in the industry for delivering superior customer care, amenities and services", he concludes.
