Singapore Hotel Group has announced the opening of its first hotel in the destination, the Banyan Tree Kerala, for the first quarter of 2013.

For the development of its first hotel in India, Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts chose Kerala. Singapore Hotel Group announced the opening of Banyan Tree resort Kerala for the first quarter of 2013. Located on the private island of Nediyathuruthu, the hotel will feature 59 private villas, a reception room, a conference room and two meeting rooms.Today, the Banyan Tree Group manages and/or owns interests in 30 resorts and hotels, over 60 spas, 80 shops and two golf courses worldwide.
