Starwood Hotels & Resorts has opened the second Aloft establishment in Miami with the Aloft Miami-Brickell. This development comes after the opening of the Aloft Miami Doral (pictured) in March.The Aloft Miami-Brickell has 160 loft-like rooms with views of the Miami skyline, ideally located in the Mary Brickell Village in southern downtown Miami and in proximity to the city's financial district.According to Francisco Arocha, CEO of developer HES Group, "Aloft is the perfect hotel brand for Mary Brickell Village and will attract savvy travelers and young area professionals with its urban design aesthetic and social atmosphere".Amenities include Aloft signatures such as the Splash pool, W XYZ bar, and 24-hour Re:charge gym. Additionally, there are 500 square feet of flexible events space.
