Aloft Durham Downtown will bring 134 rooms to the revitalized American Tobacco Historic District of the Southern US city in 2015. The hotel will be a part of a mixed-use complex, which will accelerate the development of downtown Durham.The redevelopment project of the city was launched in 2004, and the Aloft Durham Downtown should be a central part of supporting it. With access to Durham Convention Center, Duke University and Medical Center, and Research Triangle Park, the hotel should become central to tourism linkages.
