In 2013, a restored 230-year-old fort in the Indian Aravallis mountain range with 360 degree views will open as Alila Fort Bishangarh. Restoration has left the original fort intact, and given much eco-friendly care to the construction of residential areas to relive the royal experience.

The ancient structure with two-meter thick walls, with openings for firearms and turrets to remind of different times, is housed within a new complex, including five suite styles and public areas. This development consists of 59 expansive suites, each featuring large bay windows, day-beds, footed bathtubs, luxury bedding & room amenities, able to comfortably accommodate a family of four. The public areas include the arrival courtyard, banquet hall, dinnig room and lawns, pool with terrace and juice bar, two specialty restaurants, an all-day café lounge, a bar and cigar room, wine cellar, state ballrooms, library, wellness center including spa and fitness center, shopping, and a play area for children. The "Alila Experience" will also offer rural activities and adventures. This consists of five themes, including Cultural Learning, Conscious Living, Active Spirits, Culinary Arts, and Couple Celebration.
