
The Accor group is capitalizing on its position as one of the leading hotel groups in the Middle East with the signing of a management contract to open two establishments in Doha, Qatar. These will be under the ibis and Adagio brands, marking the brands' Qatar debut and bringing the regional brand portfolios to 12 ibis hotels in operation with seven under development, and 5 Adagio hotels."We are excited with this outstanding project which will definitely fill a gap in the hospitality market of Doha, being the perfect hub for regional and international business, as well as MICE events", says Christophe Landais, the managing director for Accor Middle East.Both hotels are part of a multi-use development in the heart of Doha, combining hospitality, retail and office space. The project is positioned at the nexus connecting the central business district, airport and the Corniche. The Ibis Doha will offer 150 rooms while the Adagio Doha will offer 150 apartments.
