A $5.3 million renovation project over the whole of a property has seen an addition to Hilton Worldwide's DoubleTree by Hilton portfolio. Renovations replaced the former establishment's southwestern decor with a more contemporary design, in all guestrooms and public spaces. The hotel offers 1,200 meters of flexible events space, including a 370 meter ballroom."The reflagging to a DoubleTree by Hilton signals both leisure and business travelers that they will enjoy special comforts and acts of kindness that align perfectly with this relaxed lakeside location", says John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton. The establishment is now part of the Hilton Worldwide portfolio directed by new owner and operator, Aimbridge Hospitality.
