De Vere Hotels CEO and CFO step down

Chief Executive Richard Balfour-Lynn and CFO Jay Singh are leaving De Vere.

Reports say that they are going to concentrate on other professional priorities, notably MWB Group (owners of the Malmaison and Hotel du Vin chains).The De Vere portfolio includes Mottram Hall Hotel, Cheshire, the Daresbury Park in Warrington and Whites in Bolton, as well as the Village chain.Mr. Balfour-Lynn originally founded De Vere Group in 2005 after he acquired Initial Style Conferences and took over De Vere Hotels shortly thereafter.
