
International Women's Rights Day should not be the only time of year to focus on the place of women in the workplace. In the tourism sector, according to the World Travel & Tourism Council, women account for 54% of the global workforce. This is a hopeful figure, but it masks inequalities that are still all too prevalent in the 21st century.
