Four Seasons has partnered with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD and the Italian shipbuilder, Fincantieri, to launch its luxury yacht experience. The first ship is scheduled to take to the seas in late 2025.
Built by Fincantieri in Italy, the first Four Seasons Yacht will be 207 m long and 27 m wide with 14 decks. It will offer almost 150% more living space per guest than is currently available on the market. Partners such as Tillberg Design of Sweden, as lead design architect for the exterior and the guest suites, and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, as designer of the common areas, will be associated with Prosper Assouline's creative direction for the overall design of the Yacht.
The Yacht will have 95 lodgings consisting of a network of suite combinations that will create adaptable residences, similar to villas. Each suite will cost $4.2 million to build. Each will have an average of 54 square metres of indoor and outdoor living space, floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace. The Funnel Suite will span four levels and offer more than 820 m² of living space and will also include a private spa and pool.
The ship's other facilities include several restaurants, lounges and bars. It will also feature a spa, a beauty salon, a wellness programme, a large swimming pool, an outdoor cinema and a private event space. In addition, the ship will have a staff-to-guest ratio designed to ensure a luxury guest experience. Further features and programmes will be revealed between now and 2025.
The Four Seasons Yachts fleet will be built in Trieste by Fincantieri. The first vessel will be delivered by the end of 2025, and the order, worth around €1.2 billion, also includes the option for two additional vessels. According to Four Seasons, consideration for sustainability will also be integrated into the yacht's design and guest experience.
Bookings are expected to open in the third quarter of 2023. The announcement follows the private jet travel experience launched by Four Seasons last August.
