Copenhaguen (Ville)
Copenhagen, the economic and financial centre of Denmark, has a strong economy, mostly tertiary-oriented.
With nearly 2,100 foreign companies, including 500 Scandinavian headquarters, Copenhagen is an economic hub for the Nordic countries. A port city, Copenhagen is also the starting point or stopover of the many cruise ships plying the Baltic Sea.
Copenhagen hosts 46 chain hotels for 11,128 rooms as of January 1, 2017; the capital city gathers more than half the total chain supply in Denmark.
