Xavier Douchy

Xavier Douchy

Part of the group since 1993, Xavier Douchy is in charge of subsidiary operations in France, i.e. a total of 195 hotels. He defines the strategy for these hotels to ensure their smooth running, develop turnover and manage the hotel staff.

Originally headed for a career in the kitchens after earning his pastrymaking CAP diploma in 1988, Xavier Douchy veers towards the hotel industry after a training course and becomes director, as a couple, of Campanile and Première Classe hotels. In the 2000s, he works as manager for the Paris region, operations manager for Benelux, for Northern France then for the Europe business unit.

In addition, he took a "Profit Center Management" course at the HEC business school in 2009.

Armed with his solid network knowledge, versatile and pragmatic, Xavier Douchy adapts the global vision to serve at a local level. He brings to the Executive Committee his vision of the day-to-day workings in the field, and ensures relations between the teams and the group’s head office in La Défense.
