Lori Gaytan

Lori Gaytan is Senior Vice President, Human Resources, the Americas, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).

Lori is responsible for leading IHG’s strategic HR support for the Americas region and for leading HR Operations globally across all of our regions and global functions in order to achieve consistently high quality delivery of our HR programs around the world. As a member of the Americas regional operating committee, she plays a critical role in delivering regional priorities, improving hotel performance and developing the talent pipeline. Her HR team provides programs and services for hotel and corporate employees and works to enhance IHG’s reputation as an employer of choice. IHG was recently recognized as one of Fortune Magazine’s 2012 Best Companies to Work For and IHG Learning has been recognized by numerous trade and industry groups as one of the best learning and development organizations.

Lori joined IHG in 2000 as an HR business partner for global information technology. She also supported the global sales and marketing function and was promoted to lead compensation and benefits in the Americas. She moved to IHG’s headquarters in London in 2006 to lead global compensation, benefits and the HR Shared Services function. Lori returned to the U.S. in 2011 to accept the senior vice president, Americas Human Resources and Global functions role.

Before joining IHG, Lori held a variety of HR generalist and management roles with GE, McDonnell Douglas and Primedia Publishing.

Lori holds a bachelor's degree in human resource management from LaSalle University.
