As Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Yang is responsible for driving strategic partnerships, identifying and leveraging technologies to bring the latest innovations to Shangri-La, as well as overseeing the strategy for the group.
Prior to joining Shangri-La in January 2017, Mr. Yang worked at Qunar.com – one of the largest online travel agents in China, where he played a key role in developing Qunar’s hotel wholesale distribution system, an innovative hotel revenue management system and end-to-end international hotel reservation system.
Mr. Yang earned a Master degree in Microelectronic Engineering from the Peking University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the Tianjin University.
