Representing the Sofitel So Bangkok hotel, Geoffray Maugin, Vice President of Marketing & Digital at Sofitel, received the prize for the Best Innovation in the guestroom, during the 14th Worldwide Hospitality Awards ceremony. The establishment was awarded for its original room concept, based on the 5 elements: earth, metal, water, wood, and fire. The establishment's clients are invited to choose their room according to their mood or preference, and on the length of their stay. A Facebook questionnaire was specially created to help them discover their best corresponding element and help them choose their room. To maintain the hotel's history and experience, Sofitel asked the famous Christian Lacroix to create the hotel's emblem as well as special design elements, providing a guiding thread from the decoration to the uniforms.See the Sofitel So Bangkok video on our YouTube channel, and the entry at Hospitality ON.
