Marriott Continues its "Connect with Confidence" program and proposes new hybrid solutions

Marriott International offers innovative solutions to help meeting and event professionals plan virtual and face-to-face hybrid meetings and events.

The group has established a list of vendors including Encore, Cvent, Convene, MeetingPlay and Hopin. New resources for hybrid meetings and events will be available next month at Marriott hotels in the U.S. and Canada, and around the world in the near future.

More and more meeting and event professionals are looking for technology solutions to host hybrid meetings, as well as additional information on the technologies, health protocols and logistics available to them. Hybrid meetings enable both virtual participation and face-to-face experiences through technology. 

Marriott hosted the "Connect with Confidence" event at Gaylord Rockies that brought together 100 face-to-face and 800 virtual participants in January 2021. The event implemented many of these protocols, which professionals will be able to integrate into their own group meetings at Marriott hotels in the U.S. and Canada beginning in March 2021. 
The results of the event survey revealed that 51% of meeting and event professionals plan to host a hybrid event in the next six to twelve months.

Marriott has released its "Connect with Confidence Hybrid Meetings and Events Insights" guide that outlines the journey and offers tips for designing and implementing hybrid events.  More information on hybrid meetings can be found on the Marriott Bonvoy Events website.
