Alexa for Hospitality

Amazon has developed Alexa connected speakers for hotels.

The e-commerce platform has worked on a specific version of Alexa, Amazon's voice assistant. Its name? Alexa for Hospitality, offered to hotels to bring simplicity and convenience to the customer experience.

In addition to adjusting the light, temperature, music, setting the alarm clock, guests can order room service, ask to clean the room or get the opening hours of the pool, recommendations on restaurants and local attractions without picking up the phone.

Marriott International is the first group to introduce this new experience in selected Marriott, Westin Hotels & Resorts, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, Aloft Hotels, and Autograph Collection Hotels properties starting this summer.
