Staycity

Tourism Residence

The Staycity group is the leading independent operator of aparthotels with institutional investment funds.

Staycity was set up in 2004 by Tom Walsh and his partner, who bought a property in the heart of Dublin's Temple Bar district, formerly the recording studio where U2 recorded "Desire", which they decided to convert into a house.

When it came time to move, they decided to set up a website to rent out the place rather than simply sell it. Within a week, they had their first customer, and Staycity was born.

Since then, the group has grown and now has 20 aparthotels in 11 cities and two brands: Staycity Aparthotels, and the new top-of-the-range brand, Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity. Wilde is inspired by the great Oscar Wilde and launched in March 2018 with its first property in Covent Garden, London.

Further openings are planned, including in Berlin, Paris, Oxford, Rome, Bordeaux, Munich, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Lisbon, Prague and Vienna.
