Primestar, through its original “Franchise” segment is one of the leading operators of international brand hotels in Germany.
Primestar concentrates on hotels with focused service and a room count of 100-350 located centrally in German A-Cities, as well as in selected economically strong metropolitan areas and near airports. The group currently has 14 hotels across Germany.
The group launched its second strategic pillar with Primestar Operator GmbH. The group plans to develop its own brand in the 3-star segment with up to 20 properties including a long-stay concept and working lounges. Its focus is on the acquisition of existing properties.
In 2021, the founding CEO Andreas Erben led a management buyout of the company. Oliver Kupka was then appointed as an additional managing partner in January 2022.
In May 2022, Primestar announced three new brands: June SiX, June Stay and WorX. They will offer long- and short-term accommodation as well as co-working spaces for professionals.
