The complete system of integration with most of the world PMS allows the sending of data captured via DFF, XML and API and the sending of security cards to the police, where required.

Recently PassportScan has been to adapt to the current GDPR privacy law.

“Not only have we worked on the main lines required by the legislation (such as assignment responsibility through audits, obscuring sensitive data, etc.), but we have been concerned about security first of all (strengthening passwords, encrypted storage system with 256bit Bluefish technology), darkening sensitive data, periodic deletion of data etc.)

Furthermore, we have always kept in mind the basic importance of customer choices (acceptance/negation, clear and transparent information on consents, right to be forgotten, etc.).”But our last challenge is the launch of PassportScan MOBILE, a brand new solution which enable all the hotels to do a mobile check-in at the desk or elsewhere in the hotel, bar, lobby, room, etc. This solution is working with an APP on a tablet which allow the customer to read the privacy policies, to choose the opt-in and opt-out, to sign and to add some complementary informations. Our solution is also usable to register the Rewards of the customers.


PassportScan in creating this first Mobile Checking Solution demonstrates its desires to be at the forefront of innovation designed to facilitate check-in in hotels.
