Omni Hotels & Resorts is an American privately held, international luxury hotel company based in Dallas, Texas. Founded in 1958 under the name Dunfey Hotels, it became Omni Hotels in 1983 after purchasing the brand of the same name, and being acquired by an Irish airline company. In 1989, Omni introduced guest loyalty programs in the hotel world.
Acquired by TRT Holdings Inc, and launched a billion dollar investment for the group. Since then, OMNI has kept on growing, and performing well in supply and customer satisfaction rankings. Today, it ranks 51st hotel group in the world, with more than 21 100 rooms worldwide, mostly in the US, but also in Mexico.
