A veritable business success story
The firm Diversey has a rich history of pioneering businesses in commercial affairs, cleaning and hygiene. Its beginnings date back to 1858, when the firm Sutter-Krauss was founded in Münchwilen. Over the years, this company developed in Switzerland and abroad and met with great success. After many mergers and being taken over by other firms, we developed into a global business while keeping our original values in mind. In 1996, Diversey Corporation was bought by Unilever and became DiverseyLever. Then, in 1997, the branch called S.C. Johnson Commercial Markets split away from its mother company to create Johnson Wax Professional. In 2002, Johnson Wax Professional acquired DiverseyLever and the two businesses formed JohnsonDiversey until March 2010, when the name was simplified to Diversey
