Andaz, meaning 'personal style' in Hindi, was created by Hyatt in April 2007. It is the first lifestyle brand launched by the company. The original Andaz was a rebrand of the Great Eastern Hotel in London. This first hotel was soon followed by openings in San Diego, West Hollywood, Shanghai and New York City.
The brand has a portfolio of 28 hotels located in 17 countries across North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
