AccorInvest is a group that is a hotel investor, owner and operator.

After a transformation project started in 2013 to develop the strategic activity of HotelInvest, the real estate division of the Accor group, HotelInvest became the AccorInvest Group in 2017, an investor, owner and hotel operator.

In May 2018, Accor opened AccorInvest's share capital to long-term investors, including sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors, to enable AccorInvest to achieve its growth and development ambitions. Today,

The first development project under the AccorInvest area was launched in May 2019: an 88-room, 7-storey stylish ibis Styles that was created thanks to a joint investment partnership between AccorInvest and Europequipements.

In July 2019, AccorInvest acquired four hotel assets for a total of 661 rooms in France, Spain, Portugal and Belgium.

AccorInvest purchased a 5% stake in Huazhu from the Accor group for USD 451 million in cash. In December 2019, Accor sold its 85.8% stake in Orbis to AccorInvest for €1.06 billion, which will take the form of a takeover bid in the first quarter of 2020.

The company became a little more independent from the Accor group at the end of 2019. The latter sold 5.2% of AccorInvest's share capital to several existing shareholders (including Colony Capital), with a total value of 204 million euros. AccorInvest was valued at €3.9 billion.

AccorInvest is present in 26 countries with 857 hotels managed by Accor.
