123 Investment Managers or 123 IM (formerly 123Venture) is a private equity and real estate management company.
123 Investment Managers was founded in 2001 by Olivier Goy.
The launch of the first fund, FCPR 123Explorer, took place in 2001, after an initial round of financing from Partech Ventures.
In 2008, the TEPA law allowed 123 Investment Managers to build offers allowing for wealth tax exemption: this company offers individuals to invest in unlisted SMEs, thus benefiting from a reduction in wealth tax if they are subject to it.
123 IM has also created investment funds in real estate and business development. It is notably present in hotels, nursing homes, pharmacies and, in 2018, created a fund specialising in the sports sector (sports halls, sports marketing, nutrition, e-sports, etc.).
In 2012, it set up a specific platform for institutional investors.
The independent asset management company manages €1.2 billion on behalf of private and institutional investors. It has the support of 223 partners and 65 employees.
The company's historical shareholders are Olivier Goy, Xavier Anthonioz and Richard Allanic. In 2010, the company carried out an Owner Buy Out (OBO) which brought in 17 employees.
In 2014, a new organisation was put in place, changing from a board of directors to a management board and a supervisory board. Following this reorganisation, Xavier Anthonioz became Chairman of the Management Board. Olivier Goy becomes Chairman of the Supervisory Board of 123 Investment Managers.
