Motto by Hilton, the new brand of the American group, will be offering "micro-rooms".
In tune with the deployment of hostels and budget offers, as well as the emergence of new brands offering "micro-chambers", Hilton has also announced that the creation of a brand intended to enter this market.
In concrete terms, Motto by Hilton is the 15th brand by the American group, and it will offer rooms twice as small as those of Hampton by Hilton. Covering an area of 15 square metres, they will have wall-beds, shower cubicles and toilets. The group says that the price of its rooms should be "more affordable".
The brand's first hotel (104 rooms) is expected to open in the London suburbs in 2020 and will be developed with Dominvs Group. The American group has strong ambitions for this brand: “Because we’re a global company, we don’t think anyone will be able to get to the scale that we can get to,” Tripp McLaughlin, global head of Motto by Hilton said.
