Barrière and Louvre Hotels Group have announced a partnership concerning the distribution of their upscale properties. The goal: to increase the number of Asian tourist bookings.
The Lucien Barriere Group, 16th largest French group with 16 hotels and 2,290 rooms, has announced a partnership with the giant Jin Jiang / Louvre Hotels, 2nd largest French group (844 hotels and 55,670 rooms). It will concern the distribution of hotels on their respective booking platforms.
On its site, the French number 2 will market the 18 hotels of the luxury group while the Lucien Barriere Group 20 will sell the upscale properties Royal Tulip, Golden Tulip and Sarovar.
Relying on Louvre Hotels Group's presence in China, Barrière hopes to take advantage of its notoriety in the Middle Kingdom to increase the number of reservations from Asian customers.
