Every year, the MKG Group actively participates in the animation of the working sessions organised for the hotel and tourism industry during the Mipim show.

}}The jury and the visitors have selected the winner among the finalists which included also: the Nam Hai, a five star resort, offers 60 suites and 45 villas in Vietnam; and the Hotel de Rome, the most recent palace in Berlin, run by Rocco Forte.Since he manages the company, which he joined in 1997, Henri Giscard d'Estaing is reshaping the Club Med economic model. To restore its still fragile balance sheet, he has introduced a new management of the Club’ assets, together with a new marketing orientation. Aiming at the upper segment of the leisure market, Henri Giscard d'Estaing is winning his challenge, as the latest figures show. Among the various actions implemented, he insisted on his desire to pursue the disposal of more assets to finance the development. The Club Med owns over 310m euros of assets quickly available for sale, and another 550m euros available in the long term.Furthermore, the Club Med CEO is willing to benefit from the exceptionnal location of the villages to launch a new real estate programme based on a new concept : the Club Med Villas. Financed by private investors, each villa (see above) will entitle its owner to a fixed number of weeks of vaccation. For the rest of the season, the villa will be rented and the owner will get his share of the revenues thus generated. “The first project is well advanced in Mauritius in our Albion village”, explained Henri Giscard d'Estaing. “43 villas of 2 to 4 bedrooms, from 200 to 300 sq.m. are already for sale at a price between 0,5m to 1 million euros. Other projects will follow in Guadeloupe, Italy, Marrakech, Phuket and the French Alps”.{{Mipim Awards 2007}}March 16, the jury presided over by Bärbel Schomberg, executive director of DEDGI Deutsche Gesellschaft (Germany) has announced the Mipim Awards in five categories. In the cateogry Hotels and tourist complexs, the winner is:Malmaison Oxford/Oxford Castle Malmaison Oxford/Oxford Castle is a unique mixed use development on the site of a Scheduled Ancient Monument. A 5 acre site in the heart of the city, formerly closed to the public, has been transformed. The existing Castle and Prison buildings have been restored and converted into a striking and elegant Malmaison Hotel, together with 7 new restaurants, 40 apartments, a café, art gallery and Heritage centre.
