Guests are mostly German, Russian, British, Czech or Italian, and Budapest enjoys a steady increase in international arrivals. Thanks to the development of low cost flights, Budapest hosts more and more young tourists on a tight budget usually accommodated in economy hotels and hostels.

The capital gathers around two thirds of the chain supply in Hungary. As of January 1, 2017 corporate operated chain supply gathered 11,573 rooms.
