Slovakia's largest city, with a population of 419,678 inhabitants in 2014, the capital is crossed by the Danube. Its famous philarmonic orchestra installed at the Reduta, baroque building dating from 1773, the Michel Gate and the cathedral of St. Martin built in the 14th century contribute to the attractiveness of the capital.

Between 2016 and 2017, there was no change in the number of rooms in the supply of channels and a slightly higher occupancy rate (+1.6 points). Growth was driven by an increase in prices (+9.5% of the average price) positively impacting RevPAR (+12.4%).
