On November 5th 2007, IHG group announced a partnership with THED International, the delegate responsible for directing the project, and Georgian Properties LLC, establishment owner, to open the first InterContinental hotel in the capital of Tbilisi, Georgia in 2010. The signature concluded the first important phase of the birth of a hotel project, which involves many different actors, including MKG, who was chosen to conduct the market study preceding the definitive launch of the project.
