
ANF Immobilier, Paris is selling its B&B Hotels portfolio in France to a consortium led by Foncière des Murs for €476 million. The portfolio consists of 165 hotels, 12,000 rooms total.
The mutual property fund used to purchase the portfolio will be 50.2% controlled by Foncière des Murs, 40% controlled by Crédit Agricole Assurances Group, and 9.8% controlled by a unit of Banque Federative du Credit Mutuel. This transaction also supports Crédit Agricole Assurances Group’s diversification strategy.B&B will retain ownership over the management of the economy brand hotels, while Foncière des Murs will be responsible for portfolio management and asset management. Foncière des Murs will also provide support for B&B’s development projects, strengthening its position in the sector’s development.
