Hospital and hospitality: two terms with a single etymology. With the recent trend for medical tourism, ties between the two could become increasingly closer. Today, many emerging countries are attracting European and American patients seeking quality treatment at lower prices. To seduce them, these destinations rely as much on the professionalism of their doctors as on their tourism supply. But one unknown remains: the outcome of the health reform in the United States, the sector's biggest supply country.

Relatively exclusive just five years ago a tourism niche market began to make a name for itself. Articles, televised reports and attire television shows were dedicated to it more and more regularly.
