IHG announced a series of appointments to its Global Sales Leadership team

Three new vice presidents responsible for Global Accounts, Americas Sales and Global Sales Strategy have been appointed. They will take up their positions effective on December 1st.

  • Betty Wilson, currently Vice President of Sales for the Americas, will assume the role of Vice President of Global Accounts. 
  • Jonathan Kaplan, currently vice president of global business strategy, will assume the role of vice president of sales for the Americas. 
  • Tamara Laster, currently responsible for business travel within the Global Business Strategy team, has been promoted to vice president of Global Business Strategy.

Derek DeCross, senior vice president of global sales for IHG, commented :

 Betty, Jonathan and Tamara bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to their new roles. All of these appointments were internal, which underlines the incredible level of talent we have in our team.
