Adagio announces the appointment of Virginie Barboux as Senior Vice President of Customers and Marketing, making her a valuable addition to the company's executive committee. In this key role, she will oversee the organization's communications, marketing, customer experience, CSR and design functions.

Virginie Barboux's arrival comes as Adagio continues to execute its "Next Adagio" strategic growth plan, which calls for expansion both in France and internationally.

With more than two decades of professional experience, Virginie Barboux will use her expertise to enhance Adagio's reputation and brand image among its various audiences. Her mandate includes optimizing customer journeys and experiences, both in Adagio's establishments and in the digital realm. These efforts will align with Adagio's ambitious renovation and opening plans, and contribute to the realization of the brand's raison d'être, which is to "Make life in the city more beautiful".

Virginie Barboux holds a Dessert in corporate communications, interculturality and new technologies. She began her career in the retail sector, before extending it to the industrial sector. She spent 15 years in the personal insurance and wealth management sector, where she played a key role in launching the Skandia life insurance platform on the French market. She then took on the role of Director of Marketing and Communications, then Director of Management and Partner Relations for Vie Plus, the long-term savings subsidiary of the Suravenir group, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa.

Transitioning into the headhunting field, Virginie Barboux ventured into the hotel industry in 2016, joining Best Western Hotels & Resorts as deputy general manager, responsible for communications, digital and customer experience. During her tenure, she sat on the executive committee for France and Maghreb and was a member of the group's international marketing functional team.
