With immediate effect, Tim Van den Bergh will assume commercial responsibility for all markets and the entire sun and ski holiday portfolio. For the French market, Cécile Revol will continue in her role as Managing Director of Sunweb France, remaining the main point of contact.
With a strong background in the travel industry, Tim Van den Bergh brings to Sunweb Group his expertise as former CEO and co-owner of GlobEvents, a travel and events agency merged with Sundio Group International in 2015. Since then, under the Sunweb Group name, he has held a number of management positions, contributing to its growth and development, particularly in the areas of marketing and travel.
In addition to his role at Sunweb Group, Tim Van den Bergh is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Belgian Travel Organisers (ABTO), where he lends his expertise to the wider travel industry. From 5 March 2024, Tim Van den Bergh will join the Board of Directors as CCO, alongside interim CEO Lars Löfgren, CFO Jeroen de Swart and CTO Deepika Gupta. In his new role, he will oversee the marketing of the entire sun and ski holiday portfolio in the seven countries in which the group operates: the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, France, Sweden, the UK and Germany.
