Schroders Capital, the private markets arm of the Schroders Group, has recently appointed Ingo Heinen as Global Head of Business and Product Development, working closely with Schroders' clients and overseeing the development and management of Schroders Capital's products and solutions.

With extensive experience in sales and product development, Ingo will lead Schroders Capital's private markets fundraising efforts, with a commitment to clients worldwide. His main objective will be to provide innovative investment solutions that meet clients' needs.

Prior to joining Schroders Capital, Ingo Heinen was Head of Marketing and Client Relations for the EMEA region at Intermediate Capital Group (ICG), where he led the fundraising team and oversaw capital raising in various areas. He also spent ten years at BlackRock, where he built and led the fundraising team for the alternative investment business in EMEA.

This appointment comes as part of the continued expansion of Schroders Capital's global platform, which offers a diverse range of products including real estate, infrastructure, private equity, private debt and credit alternative investments. By 2023, Schroders Capital had raised $11.6 billion through this suite of private market capabilities.

Renowned for its innovation, last year Schroders Capital launched the UK's first long-term asset fund, Climate+, and recently received £150 million funding from the British Business Bank to invest in UK science and technology companies.

“Ingo’s hire marks an important milestone, underpinning Schroders Capital’s growth ambitions in private markets as we aim to deliver the best investment solutions for our clients across the world. “I am delighted to join Schroders Capital at a very exciting time; the business is at an inflection point having grown extensively over the past five years and this momentum is set to accelerate further as clients increasingly look to Schroders Capital for their private markets investment needs. I am looking forward to delivering the client perspective to Schroders Capital’s investment engine and to delivering Schroders Capital to private markets allocators globally in partnership with the existing teams.” - Ingo Heinen, Global Head of Business Development and Product, Schroders Capital
