Scandic Hotel Group AB's Nomination Committee has recommended Michael Levie and Frank Veenstra as potential additions to Scandic's Board of Directors ahead of the 2024 Annual General Meeting.

It needs to be noted that Grant Hearn and Martin Svalstedt have opted not to seek re-election.

The Nomination Committee views Michael Levie and Frank Veenstra as candidates with valuable expertise in commercial operations, growth strategies, and international investments, enhancing the Board's capabilities.

Michael Levie, co-founder of citizenM, brings experience from leading roles at NH Hotels and Sonesta Hotels, alongside an MBA from ESSEC Business School in hospitality management.

Frank Veenstra's background includes global investments and asset management roles at NH Hotels and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, coupled with advisory positions in investment funds.

The Nomination Committee also recommends the re-election of current Board members Gunilla Rudebjer, Fredrik Wirdenius, Kristina Patek, and Per G. Braathen as Chairman.

The Annual General Meeting is scheduled for May 16, 2024, at Vasateatern, Scandic Grand Central in Stockholm.
