
The German hotel group is adapting its management structures to the expansion. New to the team is Daniella Boeken.
As of the beginning of October, Daniella Boeken will join the management team as Group Vice President Commercial with CEO and founder Michael Struck. Born in the Netherlands, Boeken joins directly from HRG Hotels GmbH, where she was responsible for 35 hotels in the last few years as Commercial Vice President. Prior to that she held various management positions at Marriott International.
Further, Boris Simm, Group Director Operations at Ruby, will be promoted to Group Vice President Operations as of October.
With the strengthening of its management team, Ruby is preparing for further international expansion. The hotel group currently has 17 hotels and three workspaces in preparation for construction or under construction, in addition to the eight existing hotels and three workspaces. Its workforce counts 285 people in Germany, Austria and the U.K., and will rise to 685 employees throughout Europe by 2023, with a total capacity of 3,576 rooms.
