The European Hotel Managers Association chaired by Ezio A. Indiani, national delegate of Italy and general manager of the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan, is now in the hands of Almyrantis.

Panos Almyrantis is the actual General Manager at the Grand Hyatt in Athens and he used to be the association’s Vice-President and national delegate in Greece & Cyprus. With great experiences among the hospitality industry, he was nominated as European Hotel Manager of the year 2014. Also in 2020, he became the chairman of the organizing committee of the “Greek Hotel of the Year Awards”.

It’s during the 48th general meeting of EHMA, from March 18 to 20, 2022 , event hosted by LAC - Lugano Arte e Cultura in Switzerland, that Panos Almyrantis was elected the president of the European Hotel Managers Association. The vision of this asociation is to be the preferred Association of Hotel Managers representing the most prestigious and unique hotels in Europe.

The non-profit association counts around 400 members representing 23 countries in Europe. It was founded in Rome in 1974 with the aim to support an inclusive and stimulating networking environment, sharing experiences, insights and support. To allowing an effective
communication within the hotel industry, with integrity, loyalty and trust. But also to facilitate ongoing education, with the support of leading international hotel schools.
