Gilda Perez-Alvarado will join the Group on 1 October 2023. She will be responsible for global strategy, relations with hotel owners and strategic partnerships, reporting directly to Sébastien Bazin.

Her arrival follows the changes made within the Group at the initiative of Sébastien Bazin, designed to foster closer links with the field.

Gilda has a solid academic background acquired in Europe and North America (Cornell University and IE Business School). She began her career at PwC before joining JLL in 2004. Within JLL's "Hotel & Hospitality" division, she acquired almost two decades of experience in strategic and financial advisory for prominent sector stakeholders including sovereign funds, private equity funds, global brands, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.

In her current role, Gilda oversees international buyer-investor sales, debt and equity placements, strategic advisory, and asset management services, providing her expertise across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific regions. Additionally, she leads the Global Hotel Desk, the group's cross-border investment sales team, which successfully handled the sale of some of the world's most iconic hotel assets. Her recognized skills in real estate and hospitality have led her to serve on the boards of several prominent organizations, including Blackstone Mortgage Trust Inc, Cornell University's board of directors, the WTTC (World Travel and Tourism Council), and the IREFAC. She has also received numerous awards, including the 2023 Arne Sorensen Leadership Award from the IREFAC.
