Costa Crociere aims to strengthen its commercial presence in the Southern European region with the appointment of Luigi Stefanelli. Roberto Alberti, Vice President Global and Chief Commercial Officer of Costa Crociere, expressed his confidence in Luigi Stefanelli's ability to give a significant boost to the company's commercial development in these key markets. This appointment is seen as a strategic measure to effectively implement the company's commercial strategy.

Expanded responsibilities and a qualified team:

Luigi Stefanelli, while assuming the role of Associate Vice-President for Southern Europe, will also remain Managing Director for France, Spain and Portugal. He will be supported by a team of seasoned professionals with extensive industry experience. Riccardo Fantoni, as Sales Director for Italy, will assume commercial responsibilities for the Italian market. Aurélie Soulat, Sales Director for France, will contribute her invaluable expertise acquired over a long career in the tourism industry. Jorge Serrano, a seasoned company professional, will be Sales Manager for Spain and Portugal.

Professional experience and achievements:

Luigi Stefanelli has solid professional experience in the cruise industry. He began his career with Ernst & Young Financial Business Advisor in Rome, and later joined Costa Crociere, where he held various positions in Europe and Asia. In particular, Stefanelli was Director of Business Development and Pricing for the Asia-Pacific region, General Manager for the Costa and AIDA brands in Austria and Switzerland, and General Manager for Central Europe. In recent years, he has been responsible for Spain, Portugal and France. Mr. Stefanelli's international experience and track record make him the ideal candidate to lead the Southern European market.
