Radisson Hotel Group has appointed Lachlan Hoswell to the role of Managing Director of Australasia in order to boost its strategic growth plans in the continent. He will be based in the company’s business unit in Sydney, NSW.
Lachlan Howell will be tasked with overseeing the group’s growth across major towns, cities and new destinations and leading operations and strategic initiatives in the region. In his previous role as General Counsel and Commercial Officer Australia at Minor Hotels, he managed to grow development by more than 50% in key Australasian markets during his 11 years at the company.
A career spanning 25 years in law and hospitality has prepared Howell for his new position. He was previously Legal Counsel and Company Secretary at Daikyo Incorporated, Legal Counsel for Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, and General Counsel and Company Secretary of Accor Vacation Club, to cite some of his previous professional experiences.
