Hotelschool The Hague has announced the appointment of Jos Vranken as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective April 1, 2025. He will succeed Regine von Stieglitz, who has led the institution since 2018.

A Transition to New Leadership

Jos Vranken brings decades of experience in the tourism, hospitality, and leisure sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director of the Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions (NBTC) for the past 17 years, he has been involved in strategic projects such as the development of the national vision Perspective 2030.

Professional Background of Jos Vranken

Throughout his career, Jos Vranken has held various leadership positions. In addition to his current role at NBTC, he served as Director for the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Scandinavia, based in London. He also worked at companies such as Avenance Netherlands, where he was Director of Sales and Marketing, and Stayokay, a hostel chain.

Tenure of Regine von Stieglitz

Regine von Stieglitz joined Hotelschool The Hague in 2016 as Director of Operations before being appointed President in 2018. Under her leadership, several projects were initiated, including the redesign of the bachelor's program, the launch of the master's program Leading in Hotel Transformation, and the development of the Research Centre.
