Effective June 1st, Sharon Rothstein will serve on the Audit and Corporate Responsibility Committees of the IHG Board.

As stated by Patrick Cescau, current Non-Executive Chair of IHG, Rothstein brings extensive brands and marketing expertise, having worked in senior positions for more than 25 years at iconic global companies. In addition to her knowledge of the hospitality industry, she holds wide-ranging Board-level experience in several consumer-focused businesses.

As for her background, Rothstein serves currently as Operating Partner of Stripes Group, a growth equity firm investing in high growth consumer and SaaS (Software as a Service) companies. She previously served as Executive Vice President, Global Chief Marketing Officer, and subsequently, as Executive Vice President, Global Chief Product Officer for Starbucks Corporation. In addition, she has held senior marketing and brand management positions at Sephora LLC, Godiva Chocolatier, Inc., Nabisco Biscuit Company, and Procter & Gamble Company, and brings insights and experience in the hospitality industry, having also held senior roles at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Rothstein also serves as a Board member for multiple private companies.
