Experienced hospitality executive, Eyal Amzallag, has been appointed to the role of Chief Operations Officer by the lifestyle and experiential hospitality brand Selina.
Reporting directly to Rafael Museri, the band’s co-founder and CEO, Amzallag will be charged with managing operations for Selina’s fast-growing portfolio of hotels. Previously at Club Med for over 20 years, he will utilise the on-property and managerial experience garnered over his career to help evolve Selina’s 150 already opened or secured locations across 25 countries.
Amzallag’s most recent role at Club Med was Managing Director South Europe, Middle East & Emerging Markets. Here, he was able to develop his international experience and understanding of the different cultures, countries, laws and regulations that impact a brand’s ability to establish itself in a region.
Previously, he served as Managing Director of Russia and CIS, Country Manager in Scandinavia and Resort General Manager. His knowledge of the industry spans budget management, customer service, development and digital transformation.
Selina’s appointment of Amzallag is a clear indication of the brand’s desire to expand globally, to create enduring value for its stakeholders and to revolutionise the Millennial and Gen-Z hospitality market.
